    Description

    This Fatty SL fork is off a 1999 Cannondale F1000. I removed it from the bike a year ago and had it rebuilt by Mendon Cyclesmith in Ionia, NY.
    Mendon Cyclesmith is the premiere Cannondale Headshok and Lefty rebuilder in the USA. It has been completely rebuilt, and includes not only all the gaskets and seals, but also a new air cartridge. Total cost to rebuild and ship back to me was 0. You can look up the business online for more information about their rebuilds. This Headshok also includes a brand new set of headset bearings ( value). The official green color is Reptilian Fade, as the bike frame was a two-tone fade.
    Designed for V-brakes (rim brakes) but also has mounts for disc brakes (old style mounts, would require adapters). Requires a shock pump to add air. Most riders need about 135 psi unless over 200 lbs, then 145 psi.
    These shocks will only fit in a Cannondale 1.5" steer tube designed specifically for Headshoks. If you're going to use it to replace an old Lefty shock, double-check your model and compatibility. I believe it will fit some, but not all. Check before purchasing.
