Indian OEM 14" chr passenger backrest rack pad Chieftain Springfield, late Chief

Description

I bought a stash of new and used parts from a dealer and included was this genuine Indian 14" (tall version) quick release chrome backrest in great condition for all years of the large-spool hard-bag Chieftain and Springfield (Dark Horse, Limited and Elite versions of those models too), and 2017 and newer Roadmaster (15-16 RMs may have too wide stock seat). In 2019 Indian abandoned the small spools (about 28mm with plastic sleeve) so this will also fit the 2019-2021 Chief, Classic, Vintage and Dark Horse models with large spools (about 32mm with plastic sleeve).
Will not fit 2014-2018 Chief models unless you swap to large spools, then it will work. Note: if you swap from small to large spools your saddlebags may not fit.
Easy to install and remove. Instructions and theft resistant screws included (these are usually missing on used backrests).
The Indian 14" OEM chrome backrest is in excellent shape, not bent or cracked, no road rash or scrapes. It shows a few light marks in the chrome from normal light use, bungee cords etc. I know it's a later model because the latches are black, the older ones were chrome. Would look good on a brand new bike.
The Indian OEM black studded pad is in excellent shape except for a few marks from normal use and some natural leather grain imperfections, no damage, no wear on seam edges as they often have, see pics.
The Indian OEM luggage rack is in good shape, no rust or damage but shows some marks in chrome from normal use.
Note:
If you don't have the black plastic sleeves over the aluminum bag mounting spools you will need to buy a set; you need 4 of part number 5450769 sleeves, about total. Also,
if you need a tan studded pad, black rogue pad or black unstudded pad instead of black studded, ask before you buy, I may be able to swap for a small fee.
Remember, this is a genuine Indian OEM backrest, pad, and rack, see logo in cross bar. Retail price for backrest 2880833-156, black pad 2879666-02 and rack 2880955-156 is 9.97 + shipping. I believe Indian has discontinued the 14" tall chrome backrest, the only 14" backrests now shown are black.
