Improvements for V3 include:
Luggage Rack: Pre-mounted rubber bushings for use with touring cases.
Passenger Backrest Pad: Zippered bottom for a more appealing look and stronger steel threads at the mounting points.
-3 inches of adjustment forward and back and 3 1/2 inches up and down
-The backrest is easily removable. Just remove the two bolts in the luggage rack and pull it off. No need to take the luggage rack off to put on or remove the backrest.
Due to the adjustability and increased distance you can place a top case from the passenger, this backrest assembly can be used with even the largest top cases. Featured in the images you will find this assembly being used with a Givi E55 Maxia.
20 Minute Install. All you need is a 4mm and 5mm Allen key and you're ready to go.
These backrest assemblies are specifically designed to bolt right up to my luggage rack but this can easily be adapted to your home made luggage racks. The 1/4 inch thick x 1 1/2 inch wide steel bracket contains multiple tapped holes so all you have to do is drill my two hole pattern into your luggage rack and you're ready to ride.
*This kit includes everything you need right out of the box: Backrest Pad, Bracket, Luggage Rack and Bolts.
*Givi E55 are NOT included.
*Not recommended for use with the V46 as the hinge point is lower than on the E55 and won't allow it to open fully with the backrest installed.
