I test my records by playing them completely through (unless they appear to be rarely played as I wish to preserve the integrity of the album).  I do not get dissuaded by surface scratches on albums, that DOES NOT mean the Album skips so please be comfortable if you receive one from me with them - as the records are previously owned.
If you are unhappy, I offer a return period. I also encourage you to contact me via email if you find the record(s) is not as I represented. The grading itself is sometimes subjective though I have tried hard to use some type of standard.  The detailed grading I use is Goldmine Standard or Common eBay grading.   Happy Listening!
A Very Good Plus (VG+) record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences.
