    Speedway has you covered if you need a "stump puller" starter for your Flathead Ford V8. Our gear reduction starter is built using all new components and cranks out 200 ft./lbs. of torque. It bolts to the original mounting points on 1932-1953 engines with manual trannys & steel flywheels.

    This starter will NOT work with the "FRENCH" blocks, nor will it work if the using flywheel 910-15624 (steel/aluminum) or 910-15625 (aluminum) on a 1948-OLDER flathead. It will work with most any other combination.
    If you have a "FRENCH" block or using the above-mentioned flywheels on a '48-OLDER flathead, you should order #
