    Description

My grandfather was class of 1930 at the Naval Academy and this was his sweater (he was on boxing team).  My Mom wore this after he died and mostly in the '70's.   Has been in a chest for the last 30-40 years.   Grandfather was not a big man, (5'6"and 130 lbs.) and Mom is 5'5" 120-125lbs when she wore this sweater.   Gives you an idea of who it would fit.   I think it mostly has value and interest as a Naval Academy piece, but in excellent shape and something you can absolutely wear.   Not fragile.
Have photo of mom wearing it in the 70's.   Give you an idea how it can look worn.
Grandfather was career Navy man and if you want provenance, here is who he was and his WWII service (sub commander)

Also have photo of Grandfather accepting service commendation after the war by Vice Admiral
