Stencils are cut from Avery® SF 100-235-S High Bake Yellow Vinyl and can be used with baking Cerakote applications,temperature up to 150-180 degrees for 30 minutes.
Perfect for creating that one-of-a-kind finish that you can be proud to own.
RATTLESNAKE Snake skin design
- Measures 9" x 12" unweeded. You will receiver complete sheet with unweeded stencil. Plenty of stencil to do AR hand guards, or receiver, or butt stock, pistol, or whatever you decide. Snake head stencil pictured sold separately.
PLEASE NOTE: This stencil should only be used by someone very familiar with the application of vinyl stencils. This is an extremely detailed cut and must be handled carefully to avoid tearing.
The pictured project is a combination of DuraCoat and Cerakote coatings.
Once applied this stencil results in a digital type snakeskin only (pictures #7 & #8 above).
This may be enough for some people.
Further
work is required to get a more natural snakeskin appearance as in the final pictures. The final results as pictured above
WILL NOT
be achieved with the basic application of the stencil.
Here I've taken the result of this stencil, applied more paint layers using different types of overlay stencils and over-sprayed the pattern, then finished the project with a thin coat of CLEAR MATTE air dry CREAKOTE. This firearm took 3 of these stencils to create.
This is not a good stencil for a beginner, or someone not familiar with how vinyl stencils must be applied. It is however a great stencil for SPRAY PAINT applications because of the fast drying properties of spray paint.
Comes with instructions on removing the top stencil for use on your project....
Can apply as a one piece stencil or cut into sections for easier handling. It is a "one use" stencil.
Vinyl material - Not recommended for use as decals.
